Dear all

While the good "dongle" isn't available with idl6.0 we thought to use a
pcmcia network card for traveling one IDL license to different
notebooks. The card is moved to the notebook which should get the license.
We got different results for windows and linux.

on windows:
lmhostid compares every available network mac address with the license
information. The notebook with the additional network card is able to
use the idl license defined to this pcmcia card

on linux:
lmhostid queries always only the first ethernet card (eth0). The others
are ignored.
I hope someone has an excellent idea how to get the lmhostid querying an
other network card too. Or is this a bug?

best regards

Reimar
