Hi,
I am trying to convert a regular gridded (raster) data into polygon data.
Is there a function in IDL which takes a raster as input and a list of
polygons as output ?!?!?!
The idea behind is the following: SHADE_SURF only takes single surfaces,
but POLYSHADE can have multiple objects as input (e.g., two surface?!?).
It should be possible to shade multiple surfaces that way, if I find a
easy way to convert the raster data?
thanx, Eva
PS: I know it is not very elegant (esp. for large data sets) ....
But displaying single views, cutting them (with the Z-Buffer)
and recombing them does not show what I want.
