Irregular Grid in IDL [message #40970]

Hello all,

I have data that is on a 12km x 12km grid. A subset of the data
consists of integers 1-13, each depicting a type of land cover. Other
variables I have in this dataset work fine with the contour command (I
supply the lat/lon of the irregular grid set to IDL). I would like to
make this an image but map_image only seems to work for regularly
gridded data. Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
