handling dicomdir with IDLffDICOM [message #42575]

Dear IDL gang,

I'm trying to write code to that will read a dicomdir and present the
user with a list of series in the file set so that the user can pick
one that will then be read. Has anyone our here already done this? If
so, would you be willing to share your code or tips on how you did it?
I'm confused by the hierarchy in the dicomdir media storage object and
I'd love to be able to avoid digesting the entire dicom standard.
