My kill file takes care of the more egregious posters out there.

I wasn't going to respond to this particular subthread, but since you mentioned my name....

While I'm very glad that the IDL newsgroup lovefestivity factor has been restored to its regular
level :o) I do have to say that a) I didn't think your reply (that started all this) was at all rude
-- succinct, maybe, but not rude, and b) Ms.Terenzi will need to develop a much thicker skin if
she's going to contribute regularly to usenet forums. I don't mean that as a criticism of Ms.Terenzi
at all - it's just that some forums can be a bit more, um, raucous and confrontational than others
(it's all those C programmers and astronomers out there.... :o) Sometimes that can be a good thing
-- being told in a public forum that I have no idea what I'm talking about can lead me to deep
cogitation and new discoveries (feel free, by the way, to tell me that right now :o)

Now, who also thinks that the first week of the Giro d'Italia was *much* more interesting than the
same in the TdF? Oops.. wrong newsgroup...
