Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case on the Sun workstation.

One person suggested setting up font aliases, which is a good idea, but only
practicle on a small number of machines. I'm more interested in coming up with
a solution that doesn't require special intersession by the system manager.
That's my idea of an "open" system.

I can't imagine why Sun and DEC would use font names that are so close, but
still different from each other. Is there really a standard set of fonts?
And, if so, which system is the one that's not going by the standard?
