Hi Group,

A quick question for users out there. I'm looking to reduce the number
of spawn calls I'm currently making to my Unix system and I'm lookiing
to see if anyone out there has converted any programs into IDL format
that would make a transformation from a geographic(lat/lon) to UTM
projection and also a program that would make a vertical transform as
well (e.g.. Currently I am making a large number of calls to C and
Fortran programs which entails making and ingesting a number of text
files...highly innefecient.

Any help or suggestions would be fabulous!
