Any ideas how to find unique pairs, tuples, etc, in a matrix? [message #49170]

For example, suppose I have something like this:

b1 = [1, 2, 3];
b2 = [2, 3, 4];
b3 = [4, 5, 6];

band = [[[b1]],[[b2]],[[b3]], [[b1]] ]

Which gives me the following matrix:

1 2 3
2 3 4
4 5 6
1 2 3

what I want is a function that tells me that returns [1 2 3] telling me
that rows 1, 2 and 3 are unique triples.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
