Has anyone figured out how to produce a polar stereographic
projection in IDL and specified the map limits so that the
projection pole is not in the center of the generated map.
In other word I want a subsection of a map where the map
center is not in the projection center or the map limits in
the x direction are different than the ones in the y direction.
Playing with the map limits in map_set only produces 'Pie-Charts'
or 'Donuts' and the clipping key-word is not allowed in mapset.
