For recent versions of IDLWAVE and IDL >= 6.2, there is no integration
required. It should "just work". At the most, you might need to set
idlwave-system-directory to point to your RSI install on Windows. You can
do this through IDLWAVE->Customize->Browse IDLWAVE Group->Idlwave Routine
Info-> Idlwave System Directory.

Is there a default install location I should use for Windows?

BTW, C-c ? in IDLWAVE is usually a quicker way to see the calling syntax,
which would solve this issue for you.
