Does encapsulated postscript with /preview work? I couldnt get
Aldus Pagemaker, nor Aldus FreeHand, nor Adobe Photoshop, nor
Adobe Illustrator to preview it. All seemed ok with the eps, but
would not preview, except for Photoshop that gave message:

Could not open <filename> because it is incompatible
with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator 3.0 EPS format.

Any clues?

ps: IDL. Version 3.6.1 (AIX ibmr2).
