New IDL 7.0 Project Problem [message #57824]

Hi All,

I've just installed IDL 7 and am in the process of taking the leap
into the unknown. I've had minimal experience using IDL Projects and
so now I'm trying to set one up to play around with it. I went to
File->New->IDL Project to set up a new one and when I select 'Create
the new project from an existing directory' and select the folder I
want. When I hit the 'Finish' Button and Error Dialog Box appears
without any message. Does anyone know what is wrong? One thing I
noticed is that if I type the folder name a message appears above
saying "The project location is not a valid path". It is a valid path
but it can't find it.
