Folks,

OK, it's not EMACS. And I know I'll never be as efficient as
the Big Guy in the corner office using it. But for the first
time since I started working on UNIX machines a couple of
months ago, I enjoyed writing an IDL program today. In fact,
I could think AND type at the very same time. I'm pretty
sure that was never going to happen with me and EMACS.

It's the first version of the Workbench, and there are quirks,
to be sure. (I'll have an updated list later.)

But using IDL was fun again. That's saying something. :-)
