That all being said, I find that it never fails that folks forget to
use the save as text file and it causes all sorts or annoyance. I
personally am an aquamacs on my mac guy but I find for windows and
without all the crazy key bindings that notepad++ works well, is easy
to understand, and just works well. You can get it at:
