I have a relatively simple problem: For transparencies
it is sometimes useful to keep the background color
'black'. The IDL Postscript-device, however, swaps
foreground and background colors as compared to the
'X' device. How do I get around this default? I have
tried changing |p.background and |p.color or modifying
the color table. The plots are generated by 'standard'
shade_surf, plot etc. commands (no images). Screen-dumps
look OK, but the resolution is not satisfactory.
