I am pleased to announce that IDL 7.1 is now available to download
from the ITT VIS website. IDL 7.1 expands on the modernization
introduced in the IDL 7.0 Workbench with new features like the Tool
Palette, greater control over the interactive iTools visualizations,
the ability to open many file types without writing any code, and even
IDL command line mode for Windows. Our goal is make IDL even easier to
use whether you’re an experienced or new user.
