hi idlers,

When i compile an idl pro file, what happens? does the compiler
produce some result files?

For example,

IDL>.com myRoutine

After i did this, it supposed to produce a file like myRoutine.class
file just as java compiler do.

I didnot find anything here and there, so I think maybe the idl jvm
executes the compiled routines which exists in memory.

is it true?
