IDL 8.1 is available for download from the ITT VIS website. Highlights
include:
- Control of graphics events in the new graphics
- File support for KML/KMZ, GRIB and video output
- Updated high resolution map data
- Image processing and analysis routine enhancements
- Code management tools for the IDL workbench

IDL licenses that are current on software maintenance are entitled to
this new release.
