Vim plugin for IDL, like the Vim-R-plugin [message #75863]

Folks,

Recently I came across a very nice vim plugin for R users. One beauty of this plugin is that you can send commands from the vim editor directly to the terminal that is running R. For people like me that do copy-and-paste and jump back and forth between the editor and the IDL terminal all the time, this feature is quite appealing. So, I am wondering if any one is willing to make a similar plugin for IDL. I could do it myself, but the learning curve is simply too steep for me and I don't see I can pull that off in a short time.
