Can't set brakpoints using emacs idlwave_shell [message #76582]

When running emacs idlwave-shell, I cannot set breakpoints. If I set
the emacs option "Run debugger on error", I get the following
messages:

Could not locate any system routine information.
Normalizing idlwave-system-routines...done
Loading and normalizing library catalogs...done
Scanning all buffers...
Entering debugger...
find-library-name: Can't find library
/usr/share/emacs/23.1/lisp/progmodes/idlwave.el
Mark set
Mark saved where search started
Quit
byte-code: Beginning of buffer
find-library-name: Can't find library
/usr/share/emacs/23.1/lisp/progmodes/idlwave.el

The file /usr/share/emacs/23.1/lisp/progmodes/idlwave.el does not
exist,
but the compiled version
/usr/share/emacs/23.1/lisp/progmodes/idlwave.elc
does.
