Hi everyone,

I have been struggling to match latitude and longitude data that I
have extracted from MODIS hdf files (100646 points) with my in situ
lat and lon file (118808 points) in order to compare the remotely
sensed values to the in situ values.

I have tried to find where the lat and lon location between the two
files are the same, but have come up with nothing (there is not a
single line with exactly the same lat and lon). Is there a way to
find where both the lat and lon position in the MODIS data matches the
in situ lat and lon +/- 0.008 degrees (the closer the better)?

Thanks,

Meredith
