Hi,

we are using idl also on our HPC cluster.
All machines are running SuSE SLES11SP1 (x86_64).
One user wrote an request, that his idl session is crashing frequently.
So I tested it at his desk - it took 5min until the gui was useable (for a moment). Just starting idlde took 32GB memory. Every click takes endless.
Has anybody found a work around or settings making it usable ?
Not every user can work at the cli only ...
