Well, there is a difference between "support" and "working", I do fine with IDL under OS X Lion, but I did not know they want to remove X11 from Mountain Lion, though. Apple moves to open source, thats at least a surprise!

Maybe someone already works with XQuartz and IDL and could clarify this problem...?
