Hi Mark,

Thanks for asking us, but you know this poll will be everything but
representative, right? ;-)

Since I feel asked to: I am using IDL exclusively on linux (two machines
with Ubuntu 10.04 -old ubuntu-) and I am still not 100% happy with the
IDL 8.2 workbench, which is much less stable than IDL 7.1. Here are the
most annoying points (impossible to reproduce when needed, of course):
- Workbench crashes sometimes without warning by either compiling or
running some "normal" code
- Workbench-window resizes when changing perspectives (from IDL to SVN
for example)
- Some breakpoints ignored from time to time (Workbench restart required)
- this is the strangest: copy-paste code sometimes leads the workbench
to "jump" to another file (opens a file and put the cursor at the
function's code header)

Anyways: these are not dramatic bugs, but kind of annoying! I was
wondering if I am the only person experiencing this...

Thanks,

Fab
