Hello IDL users around the globe,
there is a problem with plotting to an Encapsulated
PostScript (EPS) file. IDL (V2.1) didn't put any screen
description of the plot (in TIFF, PICT or a other
"pixel"-standard) t o g e t h e r with the Post-
Script code into the EPS file.
When exporting such an EPS file (via network) to
another application (suppose to "PageMaker" running
on a Macintosh computer) there will be seen on the
screen the PostScript bounding box only. So it's very
hard positioning the plot in a document or making some
additions to the text of the plot.
Has there anybody a solution ?
Probably RSI should have one, I didn't know.
Thanks in advance,
Karl-Heinz.
