Hello,

I have a 1D time series data of a variable. I wanted to perform multiresolution analysis based on maximum overlap discrete wavelet transform and the Haar wavelet. I tried searching over internet to find the IDL functions. I found a function WV_FN_HAAR, but I don't understand the syntax. What about using TS_SMOOTH or SMOOTH functions? Can anyone help me with an example to understand the multiresolution analysis in IDL?
