Hi guys,

Does anyone know if there are plans in the near future to switch the Linux version of IDL away from the Motif toolkit to a more modern alternative?

We are soon making a switch to Linux as our desktop platform and the current GUI under Linux is horrendous you can't even copy and paste text from/to a text box (among many other issues).
