Save data in hdf with Projection Information [message #90701]

Hello,

I have read a MODIS imagen HDF_EOS format using hdf_open and I have gotten the Grid Map Projection Information following http://www.idlcoyote.com/map_tips/eosgrid.php

Afterwards I do some computations with the MODIS band and derive a product.

I now need to save that product. I have tried GEOTIFF but I get completely lost. I have also tried Hdf but I do not know how to include the projection information (same than the original image of course)

I would really appreciate some tips. I have being all day reading information around this but I have not being able to fix my problem and I am very frustrated.
