I successfully generate a chart on a GIF file.
But I would like to reduce by 10 or 20% the size of the
graphic generated.

How can I do that ?

I use:

...
set_plot, 'X'
...
window,/free,title='Bar Graph',/PIXMAP ;; create a window
...
plot,
...
;; write out to gif file
img=tvrd()
write_gif,...,img
