Hello

See if your site has the PBMPLUS utilities on a unix box.
If you do, you would do something like the following

% tifftopnm INPUT_FILE | ppmtogif > OUTPUT_FILE

where INPUT_FILE is your tiff file and OUTPUT_FILE is you resulting
GIF file
