Nevertheless, it can be solved. The problem seems to be that wided is searching
for a file `template.pro' in the .../idl_4/help/widget directory in order
to include it as header into the newly written .pro file.
However, in the plain installation this file does not exist, and wided is
reporting an error. A symbolic link
.../idl_4/help/widget/template.pro -> .../idl_4/examples/general/template.pro
fixes this; alternatively, you might provide your favourite template in
the appropiate directory.
