(LSE is a Langage Sensitive Editor implemented on DEC's VAXes, and AXP
machines. It has the feel of EDT, but is more powerfull, and extendable)
I have written templates for IDL's general statements and program constructs
(i.e. stuff in chapter 6 of IDL V.2 manual PRO, FUNCTION, IF, CASE, etc).
Consider the release to be a beta version in that most bugs are fixed but
some problems remain with the alignement and indentation of some statements.
Drop me a note if you want the LSE file for IDL. Feedback regarding bugs is
welcome, but please no LSE questions. Manuals are for that.
I will not implement IDL functions and procedures (too many of them)
It would be great if IDL folks would take a look at LSE, as it offers more:
access to help files for the language, program compilation within the editor,
with compilation errors review,
Source Coude Analyzer software that can help in maintenance of large codes.
