Has anyone noticed this strange behavior with PV-Wave's
STRSPLIT function?

If I have a string such as 'abc:xyz' I am able to split
it into substrings 'abc' and 'xyz' using ':' as a delimiter.

However, if I have 'abc.xyz' I am not able to split it
using '.' Maybe it thinks the string is a floating
point number?
