A newbie's question.
When I try to open a data file in Insight (PC version 5) it will not
import the .dat files supplied in the examples directory. The plugins
directory under Preferences is correct (the default directory), and the
plugins in the directory are:
myabs.pro
mybias.pro
mybias0.pro
mydat.pro
myppm.pro
mylinsys.pro
mynegate.pro
mystdvar.pro
myvis.pro

but the only files the file import will recognise are the standard image
files and ascii.

Any suggestions?
