Windows IDL failure with multiple call_external s? [message #10919]

We have the problem here that even using call_external on a do_nothing
dummy-routine written in Visual C++ will fault with "cannot load
library" error (with number 1114) after about 50 iterations. Strange
enough that the thing does seem to load the external once every loop.

Anybody else has experienced this sort of problem and knows a fix?
