we have been contacted by rsi to beta test the new idl 5.1 release.
the contract is an agreement to spend a lot of time testing
the new version and letting rsi know of any bugs found.

i am wondering about the experiences of others who have been
beta testers.

was rsi responsive to the bugs that you found?

for the investment of your time and effort, what did rsi
offer in return (besides a "better" product) ?
