Need help obtaining "Device" font info in subroutine [message #1209]

I have a subroutine for printing a legend to a postscript device that
uses the line

DEVICE, /Courier,Font_Size='8'

to change the font.

Is there a way to "capture" the current font setting prior to executing
the above line so that it can be reset after printing the legend?
